Once upon a whimsical day, a curious caterpillar wiggled its way through the emerald foliage, pondering life's riddles. Unbeknownst to it, a sly fox with a mischievous glint in its eye watched from behind a nearby bush, plotting an unconventional partnership. "Aha!" exclaimed the fox, "What a delightful trio we'd make: I, the cunning and clever, you, the master of metamorphosis, and of course, the trusty pickllle, ready to add some zesty excitement to our escapades!" Eric Carle Eric Carle (1929–2021) was an American designer, illustrator, and writer of children’s books. He is most noted for The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Carle’s style is distinctive and instantly recognizable. His artwork was created in collage technique, using hand-painted papers, which he cut and layered to form bright and colorful images.

Lois Ehlert
Lois Ehlert (1934–2021) was an author and illustrator of children’s books. Her work is recognizable for the collage technique. One of her most celebrated books Chicka Chicka Boom Boom is dominated by type, featuring anthropomorphized letters of the alphabet cut from paper—lowercase for children uppercase for adults.
